Tara Koleski

WPSL Head Coach

Tara Koleski was a former Head Coach at Dominican University of California, former associate head coach at University Northern Iowa, and former head coach for two seasons apiece at NCAA DI UMBC and NCAA DII West Chester University.

Tara was named the 2005 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Northeast Region Coach of the Year, the Southeast Pennsylvania Coaches Association (SEPCA) Women's College Coach of the Year, and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Coach of the Year. Tara was the head coach of the semi-professional Rochester Reign of the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) and an assistant coach at Swarthmore College (2003) and Villanova University (2002).

Tara earned her BA in Sociology from the University of Portland and holds a Master's Degree from Northern Arizona University in Administration Leadership and Business certification from Harvard Business School in Entrepreneurship Essentials. Tara has a USSF B license, NSCAA Premier, and DFB B license.

Jennifer Grubb

WPSL Assistant Coach

Jennifer is a former professional soccer player who represented her sport on both a national and international level. As a player at the University of Notre Dame, Jennifer served as a captain for two seasons and was named a 4-time All-American, 2-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year, and 4-time Big East All-Tournament Team. As a player for the Washington Freedom in WUSA, Jennifer was named captain twice and was named to the All-Star team in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Jennifer also represented the US Women’s National Team between 1995 and 2000.

In addition to her playing career, Jennifer has coached at the high school, club, college, and professional levels. Most notably, Jennifer coached for SkyBlue FC, part of the WPS, before transitioning to a player-coach. Jennifer holds a USSF “B” license.

Currently, Jennifer is a mental health counselor at Pikes Peak Community College and in private practice. Jennifer also owns a business that focuses on improving performance for individuals as well as teams. Jennifer graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and she completed her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Monmouth University.

George Robert Okallo

WPSL Assistant Coach

Currently, George is the Assistant Girls Director of Coaching, the Director of Goalkeeping, and a Head Coach at a youth soccer club in Phoenix Arizona since February 2013. George also works as the Financial Consultant at G&G Associates.

George has been coaching for over 25 years. As a Director of Goalkeeping or as a Head Coach, George’s impressive coaching experiences include USL Women’s League, Arizona ODP, Ottawa University Arizona, Grand Canyon University, Kibera Girls Soccer Academy, Kenya National Youth Talent Academy, Kenya National Premier Women’s League Champions in Nairobi Kenya, and many other notable accolades.

George graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master's in Business administration with an emphasis in International Business. George holds a United Soccer Coaches Level I and Level II Goalkeeping License, and he has a USSF “D” License.

Erik Panzer

WPSL Assistant Coach

Erik is a current player with our NPSL Men’s team. He has played professionally and semi-professionally around the world in countries such as England, Sweden, New Zealand, and Australia since graduating from Quinnipiac University in 2016.

Along his playing journey, Erik has also coached in many environments, from grassroots clubs to elite academies. While coaching on the field, his impact and experience carries over further off the pitch. Erik graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has combined his education with his numerous experiences within various organizations and works as a Mental Performance Trainer and Mentor. He assists athletes and everyday people to navigate their life to perform to the best of their ability, focusing on topics such as personal development and well-being.

Erik’s Coaching credentials include NZF Community Coach Educator, USSF Grassroots 7v7, USSF 11v11, and USSF F license.

Dana L. Hooper

Director of Player Personnel

Dana Hooper is a local attorney with a unique practice that focuses on employment law, commercial litigation, and sports matters. In Dana’s sports practice, she works with a variety of clients, including representation of professional athletes, college, professional and youth coaches, executives, teams, youth clubs and organizations, and sports-oriented businesses.

Dana brings her experience not only as a former soccer player but also as a U.S. Soccer certified agent for professional female and male soccer players to benefit as a sports liaison to FC Arizona.

Cindy Hallas

Strength and Conditioning Coach

Cindy Hallas played Division 1 soccer at the University of Arizona and at Grand Canyon University. After college, she played semi-professional soccer with Arizona Heatwave, retiring from competitive soccer in 2010 after numerous injuries and knee surgeries. Cindy transition to coaching soccer at Sandra Day O’Connor High School with Rick Kelsey and at Pinnacle Peak High School with George Okallo and Chuck Browder. Although her soccer career ended due to injury, it has inspired Cindy's personal lifestyle choices to include corrective movement and strength training. Cindy also currently works as a Senior Mortage Loan Officer with Amerifirst Financial.
